Kwee and Tom approached us with a vision – a wedding reception that felt more like a lively soirée than a traditional affair. They ditched the formalities, opting for a vibrant and carefree atmosphere where guests could roam freely and let loose. And let us tell you, it was a night to remember!

First off, let’s talk about the food – because who doesn’t love a good feast? Instead of the usual sit-down dinner, Kwee + Tom decided to change things up with various food stations. From savory delights to sweet treats, guests could embark on a culinary journey at their own pace. We had a beautiful charcuterie table to start cocktail hour and then guests moved onto sushi and a paella station. It was such a fun way to enjoy the evening and celebrate the night with your loved ones. We highly recommend opting for different food stations if you are a huge foodie like the bride, Kwee, and want to experience different cuisines all in one evening!

No formal seating charts here! The backyard was transformed into a fun intimate atmosphere filled with cocktail tables, cozy lounge furniture, fire pit seating, and picnic setups. Made for a laid-back vibe that encouraged mingling, laughter, and impromptu dance parties. Later in the evening we had guests form a circle to create a “dance floor” for the couple to enjoy their first dance together as newlyweds and we lit up the space with sparkers. It was the most perfect moment for not just the couple, but their family and friend as well.

As the night progressed, the couple surprised everyone with a silent disco! To keep the noise down in the neighborhood, guests slipped on their headphones to dance the night away and it was so much fun.

Kwee + Tom’s backyard wedding party was a testament to breaking the wedding mold and embracing something different.
